ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Adrienne — a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California and Oregon, and a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.

I believe therapy is more than talking — it’s about being seen, feeling safe, and having tools that actually create change. My goal is to help you quiet the noise of anxiety, feel more confident in your relationships, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve lost along the way.

Why I do this work…

As a kid, I often felt like my struggles didn’t matter. Growing up in a divorced household, I learned to stay quiet and not ask for help, believing I’d be a burden. That loneliness stayed with me until college, when I finally began opening up.

I was inspired by professors who modeled warmth, curiosity, and insight in their own ways, and I experienced the life-changing support of my own therapist. She expected nothing of me — she was simply there, steady and nonjudgmental. For the first time, I felt fully seen, and the weight I had been carrying began to lift.

That experience shaped how I show up for my clients. I believe people need nonjudgmental support and care, and to know they are not alone — even when it feels that way. My role is to help you release the burdens you’ve been carrying, reconnect with your authentic self, and rediscover joy and fun in life.

I work most often with anxiety, relationship challenges, and self-worth struggles, bringing a warm, playful, and insightful presence to every session. And because healing is more than talk therapy alone, I also integrate holistic perspectives — including how the way we eat, move, and live impacts our overall mental health.

At the heart of it, my purpose is simple: to help people build a life where they feel supported, connected, and free to live as their most authentic selves.

My Background

With over 10 years of experience, I’m licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist in both California and Oregon. I’m also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and trained in EMDR, which allows me to approach healing from both a clinical and whole-person perspective.

My work is grounded in Attachment, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I tailor every session to meet you where you are. For clients carrying the impact of trauma, I often integrate EMDR as a way to safely process and release what’s been holding them back. And when it feels supportive, I weave in holistic tools — exploring the connection between mind, body, and daily habits — to help strengthen your overall well-being.

At the heart of it, my training and certifications are simply tools. What matters most is creating a safe, compassionate space where you feel understood and equipped to create real, lasting change.

Here is what working together can look like…

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming — but I want you to know what it’s like to work together so you feel at ease from the very beginning.

  • Your First Session: We’ll spend about 50 minutes getting to know each other, talking about what’s bringing you in, and setting intentions for our work. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — this is simply the first step.

  • Ongoing Sessions: Most clients meet with me weekly at first, which helps create momentum and a safe rhythm. As we go along, we can adjust frequency based on your needs.

  • How We’ll Work Together: I’ll guide you in exploring the roots of your patterns while also giving you practical tools to use outside of session. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you — no rushing, no judgment.

  • A Holistic Lens: When it’s helpful, I integrate mind-body connections into our work. This might include gentle discussions about how nutrition, movement, or daily habits impact mood and energy, always tailored to your comfort level.

My goal is for therapy to feel like a supportive partnership — a place where you feel safe, understood, and equipped with strategies that create lasting change.

If you’re ready to start your own healing process, I’d be honored to support you.
